Donnie Thompson

Donnie Thompson is our licensed CDL truck driver. He has been with us for almost five years. Donnie is very meticulous about each delivery that he hauls, making sure the materials are put where they are the most convenient for the homeowner or the builder. Donnie’s wife is Connie. We are glad that Donnie decided to join our team.

Jonathan Bostic

Jonathan Bostic has been with us 30 years. He is our Yard Foreman and if you call in for a delivery, Jonathan, with the help of our yards guys, will pull the order and put it on a truck in record time. And our yard crew will also load your order if you wish to pick up your materials. Jonathan is a James Kenan Tiger through and through (yes, we give him a hard time down here in Bulldog territory). Jonathan enjoys JK Tiger football, UNC Tarheels, and fishing.

Mitch Robinson

Mitch Robinson has been with Brown’s for over 40 years, and it doesn’t seem like the word “retirement” fits into his vocabulary. He is certainly the wisdom and experience here at Brown’s. He got a lot of his training working for his father-in-law Mr. Durwood Rivenbark before he began his journey at Brown’s. If you need windows, doors, trusses, bricks, LVL’s, etc., please stop in to see Mitch. 

Percy Holmes 

Percy Holmes, our precious Percy, who keeps us laughing and smiling. If you order a set of kitchen or bath cabinets you will meet Percy. He is our main cabinet truck driver and does whatever is necessary to get his job done. Percy has been with us for 17 years.

Wanda Kennedy

Wanda Kennedy is one of the three Wanda’s that works at Brown’s Builders Supply. She is celebrating 29 years with the company. Wanda is on our sales counter, so if you come into the store to pick up your materials or call in for a price, or want paint mixed, or a lock rekeyed, and on and on, you will most likely speak to her. She received her hardware knowledge working at Z.J. Carter’s in Wallace.

Wanda Raynor

Wanda Raynor (yet another Wanda) has been with the company 39 years. She is the credit/purchasing manager. She was hired in 1986 because the company needed someone to type lumber price sheets and she was then a JSCC typing student of one of the owner’s wives. She keeps the lumber yard stocked and also tries to be the “inventory police”. If you have any questions about building supplies, please give us a call (910-289-4193).
